Because I love maps I thought I would share this with you folks. It's actually a very well done and informative map.
Since its such a large map it doesn't really preview properly. Just click on the caption to go to the full size map.

Happy 40th D&D
While not exactly the definitive date for the birth of D&D this weekend everyone is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the birth of D&D. What am I doing to celebrate this momentous occasion this weekend, you might ask. Actually I am doing what I do most weekends, getting together with a group of friends/players to play a game of AD&D 1ed. A heartfelt "thank you" to all the pioneers who actually put together the game so many of us have come to enjoy through the years. I can think of no better way to celebrate and honor their memory than to continue to play the game so many of us love. No matter what flavor of D&D you might enjoy, play a game this weekend.
