Boldy going where its gone many times before (and will be syndicated forever). Star Trek is poised to return to television with a new adventure for the first time since Enterprise wrapped in May 2005. According to
The Hollywood Reporter, Alan Kurtzman has timed it around the 50th Anniversary. To premiere on CBS in January 2017. From there subsequent episodes will air on the network's VOD platform, CBS All Acces, a digital streaming service that costs $5.99 per month. No real details have been provided, but then we have over a year to go for this, so I'm sure there will be more teasers in the meantime.
