Dragon Crusaders

Dragon Crusaders
Inspired by Carrie Vaughn post

Dragon Crusaders trailer. The best Asylum film I’ve ever seen. I know that’s damning with faint praise, but seriously — I would watch this again.  Plus, this introduced me to Cecily Fay, a super badass martial artist and stuntwoman who plays the Halfling ranger. (They didn’t actually call her a Halfling ranger, but that’s what her character is.) Also, there’s a whole troop of scruffy knights Templar on Andalusian horses. This movie had my number.

Envision this scenario; Cecily Fay and Zoe Bell should do a female version of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. Isn’t there some kind of petition we could sign to make this happen?

    1. Just be aware that this is a low budget, stiffly acted film. It really does try so I'll give them credit for that but I would recommend you watch this someone else while drinking heavily.

I don't know why this clicked with me but it just did. A guilty pleasure I guess.

  2. I'll have to check this one out as well. Thanks for the warning but, with the "big" studios not wanting to make these films -- in spite of LoR -- we "fans" will have to settle for what we can get.

An "A" for effort works for me!

    2. I would rate this one up there with Hawk the Slayer [if you've seen that one].

  3. Typical "Spaghetti Western!" ROFL

I loved it! And you were right about Cecily Fay, great performance. You could nit-pick the movies to death, of course, but hey . . . what part of "Spaghetti Western" do those type of people not comprehend?

Now to get "Hawk the Slayer," which I haven't seen. ;)

I'll report back on that one too! :D

If you found this amusing you definitely won't be disappointed with "Hawk". :-)
